Ok here is a try .The lovely flower is from Baskletkases site the thread is from my vase and i am useing scrapes of fabric with a layer of thin polester plastic from our hardware store .I am going to find the perfect design for this yet hugs Carolyn

Sehr schön. Auch mit Wollresten oder Stoffresten kann man schöne Muster auf diese Art machen und weiter verarbeiten zum Beispiel als Anstecknadel (Brosche).

You certainly have a brave heart! I'm getting nervous just thinking about everything that could go wrong here. Just dying to see the finished outcome!!! Then you can save the leftover snippets in your vase too. This is going to be like one of those sourdough starters that you keep on your shelf forever.
