Just wanted to show you I have been making this week ,a friend of mine asked if I could make some hot water bottle covers for her daughter to take to India .She is a nurse and is going to India in january to work in a childrens hospital, for 2 weeks.She has been there before and said the hot water bottles will bring comfort to the children after they come out of surgary,I made them all up and did the embroidery on all but the 2 with the ducks,Thanks for looking.

I try to make a life a little brighter for 1 person each week, it may be a mug mat ,or a card , or send an lace angel,a pretty packet of serviettes, I dont always include who its from . Is what I love to do.

Its a case of Murpheys law , I had been destashing only 2 weeks before I made the covers , and sent 4 large garbage bags of fleece and other fabrics to our local op shop , the orange was the only piece I had left ,at least its nice and bright,
