Just home from doing a Market. Didn't sell very much but it was just so nice to sit in the sun and feel warm and talk to people after a loooooooon cold winter

It gets me out of the house. Some one said I should take my machine with me, but without power I would have to have one of the old ones with a pedal

What a pity that the business went not so well but good that you can see the positive side :o)

Had a great day even if I didn't sell much. there were not a lot of people. Too much else happening on the same day. I am now making the 3D indoor plants from Pam's 3D designs for a big fair at the end of the month.

Sorry you didn't do well, but just think of all of those people you talked to. They will tell their friends how nice you were and they will come back and you will have a very nice time the next time you go.

Think it was just the day. The end of school holidays. Football final and a Car race in the eastern states, but it was sunny and I did a lot of talking which I enjoy after spending most days by myself.

Sometimes the chatting makes up for all that we don't sell on that day. At least there is stock left for another day. ***

In a way I am pleased that I didn't sell a lot as I have a big Wine and Art fair at the end of the month and I think I need lots for that.

Better luck next time I suppose. I am going to try a couple of craft fairs soon but I am prepared to be disappointed! I used to sell knitted garments (to my own designs) but it was so difficult to price them. A lot of people here in UK expect you to give things away.

This Market used to be really big and then almost died. Someone else took over and it is slowly building again. It is only 5 mins away from me, so naturally I want it to succeed.

Ohhhhhhh... that means that we might be in for a few sunny, warm days down here in the Mount. I love the sun and so do the weeds and I've been tackling knee-high lush weed growth with my trusty mower and finding the front garden again. Today your sunshine has reached us - let's hope it stays for the entire day.
I hope your next market goes a bit better for you.
