I am on my 'hobby horse' again. Why do some Cuties ask for help and never go back to their post to see what answers they have. I am just fed up......

I feel much better now :)

I'm not sure but while we are on the subject the ones who annoy me ask for help, get it and are not heard from again.

Tell me about it Sue and that is why, we have to tell whoever that they have a PM - so unnecessary .

I am guilty of not checking the in box, thought it had disappeared. But there it was, it had just moved to a new location.

That's something that make me wonder often. It is nice to have a feedback if your answer was a help or if the problem still exists...
Greetings, Bettina

Even if your answer was no help, a thank you would be nice, but sometimes a person is under so much stress that they don't think about it. I am glad that you are feeling better now that you have "let the air out" so to speak.***

I think some enjoy this site much as a library. You come, talk to the librarian, you get your book, and go home. Some thank the librarian on your way out the door, others rush on their way. You don't come back until you need a new book, or if the first book didn't give you the info you needed. I'm ok with that.

Yes, a "thank you" would be nice, or hearing how the advice given worked would be nice too. However, I like to think of the time I spend responding to people as a random act of kindness. I take time to send my advice and thoughts out to someone I don't know, who I may never hear from again, and who may totally ignore what I say. But, perhaps they, in turn, will help another, or use the advice to make something for a sick friend.

Let's face it. We are a chatty group. Some people just need a midgin of advice and are on their way.

An easy way to check on items/questions/posting is to click on the down arrow by your name at the top of the page. Click on your name and everything that you posted is listed. That would make it quick and easy to check and respond to those that left you comments. That way you don't have to search through all of the postings to find them!
