Where are these designs from? I've never seen ones like you have used on your towels. Very different, and pretty too!

They are from Janome Australian series which came on a card for the Janome 8000 machine which I purchased back in the early 1990's.Janome later released a cd called Gallery with nearly all the designs that were originally on the cards
there are similar designs on an Australian site called Ellen Jaye Designs... http://ellenjayedesigns.com/
