Ever have a day when everything sewed bad??Well thats me today .I wrecked the edge of another cmas doily of mops and my towels far from perfect and my fsl is weird lol so here have a look !!!I am going to read a book lol

From what I see all good to go the Mops design might take on better edge with some lace on outside edge. It is very pretty. On here your towel looks lovely, and I like your lace angel.

The towel hanger and angel only little tiny flaws. The doily I would of put a piece of fabric right sides together and sent the outline stitch back around stopping short of a full circle and turned it inside out but the lace is a good save for it also.

Sometimes I find that the wearher upsets the Soluble Stabilizer. It doesn't like wet or humid days. It can do funny things to FSL. Remember Tomorrow will be a better day. Hugs Joyce

I messed up a doily once and then decided to line it - there was just enough space between the embroidery and the satin stitches to stitch the two pieces together, turn it and nobody noticed it was a salvage job.
Or you could stitch some lace along the edge - difficult with this colour but useful when it happens with one on white fabric.
Can't see much wrong with the FSL in the pictures. I love the angel.

You're a bit hard on yourself, Carolyn. Have you tried maybe pressing the warped coaster on the back under a cloth to see if it improves any? Otherwise the lace edge idea sounds good to me. The other two projects look great, especially the towel in blues

It happened to me too yesterday, my towel topper was soooooo bad I threw it out... Trying to finish my underwater seen today, but worried I'll mess up.

I believe, we all need a bad day to get the good days flowing again, and I do not think these look so bad. We must make something that we can keep, LOL. I often end up keeping more than I can afford, because of mistakes. Hope you enjoyed reading the book.

Your are so right to stop and read book , always a good thing, Love reading also esp when sewing/emb does not come tog. On those days I know to just walk out as I will only make it worse.
