A friend and fellow employee went to Brazil to help my DH with his work overload. Unfortunately he was deported before arrival at the final destination. It was a misunderstanding on the part of both Friend and Customs. Language Barrier! Now he can't help and he feels bad. Dr. Leah devised the cure. Hope you enjoy the laugh. It is a fishing Vest that say's Deported from brazil... forced to Fish the Homeland. It has his name on the front.

I forgot to mention I had to pick out the Statue of Liberty 3 times. My computer and machine were not communicating well. She is only 11,500 stitches

He may not have received it yet. I had to mail it snail mail. It should be there this afternoon or Monday. I mailed it to his office.

I think I have finally recovered from the last 9 day and night sewing maraton. Nope I haven't but I am ready to go again anyway. Come on up:o)
by shirlener88 24 May 2008
I don't get it - Karen's profile says UT and Leah's says Brazil - I live in UT - when can I come to one of these marathons? Please invite me. *4U
by 4lghoward 24 May 2008
We will of course******* You are not to far from where I grew up. I was born and raised in SLC and Raised my family in Roosevelt Ut. That is where I met Karen. My dad worked at HAFB as an aircraft electrician for many years.

I am actually in Denver Colorado part time and Brazil part time. I am currently in Colorado because I had to return home to help with a new granddaughter. My Grandson will be born in Sept. He will be darling GC #3. This summer I will bounce around between Brazil, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and California.

It is nice when a sad story can inclued LOL. Thank You! As a side note ladies, I sent photo's to my DH in Brazil. He has called me a couple of times to say thanks. I think a few more good turns like this and maybe there could possibly be another Upgrade;o). Although I do love my Singers, I haven't completely removed my eye from the Husky's. The one I had of those was a dream.
