Mummy pig looked lonely so I made her a litter of piglets. They have a circle of craft foam inside to give them body and still be washable. The piglet fits a 4x4 hoop.

What a great idea Sue to put craft foam inside. I have been putting it off making some of these since I just threw most of my used cd's away. Great Job.

These are GREAT Sue. I was wondering how I was going to make some of these since as you know my hoop is the smaller 5 x 7. Thought I was going to have to default to my regular sewing machine. These for the little piggies. I know my daughter will love these. Hugs, Susan

Love the litter addition, the craft foam great idea. If I can come up with a good piggy eating story. I will be making this for my youngest GS. to sit his cup on at table and the face into booklet. He has been diagnosed with Shachman diamond syndrome not sure of spelling pronounced shockman. In short he is very small it works in the bones and the blood. They need to build up his enzimes and will be watching him as some even get leukemia. So this Gramma wants his red and white blood cells doing great and the doctors to be surprised by his growth that will happen. So Thank you very much again for the piggy design. I will make one for all the GKs.

I am not crafty. What is craft foam? I take it you stitch and cut through it! Does it add dimension or can I use stiff stabilizer
by spendlove 22 Oct 2012
It is sold in sheets. You can stitch through it if you don't have too many stitches, but I cut circles to fit within the design.

Down here in the south of Alabama they have a Special Bar B Que to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy. I can just hear the squeals of delight. One year we made pig pot holders that sold really well but, they are not as cute as yours. Love them Sue.

I made onw of these yesterday, but my daughter came to visit and took it home with her. She asked me if I could make more for patches on her blue jeans. I knew she would like it. Thanks again, Sue. Hugs, Susan
