My sister will be a new grandma (twice within 6 weeks) and asked me to make up a few things for the new babies.
Here is a travel quilt for a little boy whose granpa is Farmer Mike. I added the words to "Old Macdonald"
to suit what he had on his farm. This is my first baby quilt and I had a lot of fun doing it. I am working on a second one already,

It took alot of decision making on fabrics (I had to many to choose from LOL), and this was only a small travel quilt so I did not want o overload it. The one I am working on now is larger and had alot more embroidery. Loved the process but realize now that quiliting is a whole other ball game.

Love what you have done here . The tan fabric makes me think of growing rows the words are great and the colors. You put together things so well. I am looking forward to your next project.

I didn't realize how much planning went into quilting and although this one is very simple, I think it foots the bill. The one I am working on now already has about 400,000 embroidery stitches in it and tell a much bigger story of farm life. Thank you again for your kind comments.
