I may purchase it but I need some reveiws from my Cutie friends that have one already. Thanks for any help.ASAP-Toogie

I have 2 of them--2003 and 2002 updated to '03. Uses card or floppy disk? I LOVE mine--that's why I have 2. Any more questions, PM me.

Hi Toogie, Is the the ULT2003? I have one, and I LOVE mine, if it is. It can do everything the more expensive ones can. I think, the price is a bit high, If you can pay, say $900, then have it serviced, I think you can still buy the 3 year service plan. That would be the way to go. You can stitch large designs. You really need that service plan as the machien is getting old now. How many stitches does it have on it? Mine has 14,000,000 and it's still going fine. Hope that helps, Jan

Yes, it is the ult2003.It has 3,500,000 sts.My daughter is concerned that when I get a newer pc (mine is windows7), that I won't be able to run my Ped-Basic card writer, to use my card for the designs. She said since the ult2003 has a floppy disc too, that the machine is getting too old, as you said. She would rather see me get a new machine (for 1400 baby lock Ellure ) that has a 5x7 area and usb port. That is why I asked what is the design size that people most use. I also won't have any warranty b/c I will be buying from an individual

Just realised that this is also the Brother Galaxie 3000. I have this machine and its BRILLIANT. They sell regularly on ebay uk round the £1000 mark. My dealer speaks very highly about this machine. My friend also has one and loves it too
