Today is my Echo Day, I made this title up, with the help of my husband. I guess you all want to know what that is. One guess you only get it once in your life time , and some may not even live long enought to get one.
It's when the last 2 numbers of the year you where born, are the year you are turning on your birthday.
Example 1944 year your were born, 44th birthday is your echo day. Now if you are lucky enought to be born in a 00 ending then the day your are born is your echo day.
It's just another way to make us feel special.
So happy Echo Day to me!

It figure it that way also. So if you were born in 1944 and lived until 100 (2044) you would celebrate 2 echo days!
Born 2012 then when you turn 12 sometime this year , that Birthday is your Echo Day.
No, it means that when you are born in 1963 you'll have you echo birthday when you turn 63, so that will be in 2026. No echo birthdays in odd years.

Hahahaha, I'm sorry but this is so funny. I think some people forgot to notice you said the "year you were born" not this year of 2012 and if it were that you were born in 2012 gosh, you are really smart and it wouldn't be your echo year either. I will remember the echo year for others my next one will be when I'm 150. I'll be chuckling all day and I really neede one. Thanks

I had mine and didn't even know it, Born in 1956 and turned 56 this past Feb. You share your birthday with my son also born on Oct 27th.
