This is my first real try at a filled design. I'm quite pleased with it although the windows don't quite fill the space I carved out of the bodywork. I used a photograph and an occasional look out in the garden at the real thing.

What a great job. It look like the motor home we used to have except the door was on the other side. ;)

Sue, it looks pretty good to me. I'm glad you're still learning digitizing. I wouldn't know where to start. You are brave! Keep up the good work and thank you for all the goodies you've shared along the way. They are very much appreciated.

Nice work Sue.
When you carve out a hole in a design, you can then use "Convert" "Create fill form opening" and you have the exact shape. To make sure you have no gaps you click the object to fill the hole and use "transform" "expand objects" and choose 0.5 mm.

Setting the pull compensation to 0.4 also helps but only in the direction of the stitch, not in the perpendicular direction; that's why I opt for "expand object".
Thanks! That advice will be very useful. I hope others are reading this!
Thanks, Martine.
Yes Thank you. I am saving in word, for when I have time to have a go.

This looks really good, Sue. How handy to have a 'life' model who doesn't move!
