Lost my beloved little dacshund, Luni today. She had been bleeding from her mouth for 3 days. I kept taking her back to the vet. Finally they sent us to the animal hospital. Too little to late. She bled out at 4pm Nov 1. The hospital vets thought at first it was an auto immune disorder but her blood would clot and they were leaning toward her being poisoned. Who would do that to a poor little dog. We love and miss her and will mourn her loss.

My sympathies for you and your poor little dog. I can not understand how cruel people can be. I see it all the time. I work with animal control and paws watch to spy and neuter feral cats. I see so many abused animals. Makes you want to do the same to the person who did this. Poor things.. I feel so badly for them. Rainbow bridge as suggested below is a great place . Give them a try... Debbie, sorry to hear about your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone dear. An animal is always so kind to you and is never angry, it gives true love, not faked. Put a nice picture of her somewhere and remember all the nice times you had together. I'm sure she will be waiting for you to meet again one day..

Soooo sorry...we too lost our sweet Basenji girl just three weeks ago...she was only 11 years old...we are still so very sad...life isn't quite the same...they become so much a part of the family...hugs and prayers...

I'm very sad for you in your loss. Strange they didn't want to keep her in or refer you on the first time. She is at peace now anyway and pain free. I'm sure you have lots of lovely memories of your time with her.
