Just grab her and take a taxi or an ambulance. She should really be too old to behave like a defiant little girl. Hope she comes to her senses and do for herself what she would advise to everybody of us ;o)

from a friend nearby to help you guys. You shouldn't mess with fevers if they are very high. Maybe your insurance has a nurse/doctor hotline to tell you what to do along with possibly going to doctor.

Push the fluids and keep her hydrated. Just finished with my fever and it burned most of my face and neck. I let it run it course and it was a very long week. Have to admit it was a cheap way to get a facial peel but don't recommend getting sick.

Ray, it is good to hear that you are doing better! You tell Meg that a fever is a very sure way to tell that something is wrong!!!!! She needs to go to the Dr and let him check her to make sure it is not something serious. Meg really knows better than to play with her health, so maybe she is just sick to get herself to the Dr. It would not hurt to call one of her friends to take her in for a check-up. It could be something very simple that some meds would take care of in a hurry but it could be a warning that something is very wrong. It is not worth waiting and becomming sick enough to to be hospilized!!! You try to relax and take good care of yourself! My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you and Meg! Lflanders
