Before I went on holiday to NZ I embroidered a total of 16 hand towels for family & friends trying out different stabilisers to find what works. They all have to report back to me after they have been washed a few times. The butterfly designs are from Ace Points & the caravan designs are from Glenn Harris embroidered on an embossed design from Emblibrary.

Lynda this turned out great. I too am doing towels, but am not trying out different stabilizers. How are you cutting around the stabilizer on the back? I have tried cutting in a close circle around the design and on another one I have tried to cut in between parts of the design. Don't know which way will hold up the best. It will be interesting to compare notes. Mylinda-

Hi Mylinda,On some I used dissolvable cutaway, ordinary cutaway & washaway vilene.I just cutt around the outside of the designs ,basically in a circle, not in between.I am eagerly waiting for results to come in.Those that dont work I will redo & send them using stabiliser that did work.
