Good Morning, Cuties. It has been a long time since I've visited. On October 28th our lives were changed forever. Hurricane Sandy destroyed our home. I think I might be able to save my embroidery machine, but don't know yet until I can afford to take it in for servicing. My sewing studio -- and everything we own was destroyed. My computer was damaged and I am hoping and praying that I can somehow extract the embroidery files. In the meanwhile, I am grateful that we have found a place to shelter. Our family is split up and I have only an office chair and a cardboard box, but I am grateful. I hope that one day I will be able to return to being active here. God bless you all.

This has been a long month for you. We have had all of you folks up there in our prayers as we have been through hurricanes ourselves know how devestating and overwhelming it can be. Hopefully things will start moving a little faster and you can get back to some semblence of normal. Might I suggest yo ukeep a littl notebook and everytime you think of somthing you had in your sewing studio, write it done-might help with any insurance adjustments. Blessings.

This just breaks my heart. You are still in my prayers and I'm grateful that at least you all came through unharmed. I can't imagine what you are having to deal with. Hopefully your insurance company will quickly take care of you and get you started back to some sort of normalcy. We will be waiting your return.

Sorry to read you have lost your home. But good you and your family are okay. It is be hard the time you are in now, I just hope your insurrance will help you well enough to get started again. And we we all can help you in one way or anither, tell us. I have read that there are sewing sides who are willing to give you back all the designs you have bought for free. You have to makr contact with them in case you computer is damaged. Take care. We are all thinking and praying for you.

I think none of us can even begin to feel the devastation you have had in your life. It is beyond comprehension to loose all, as we all treasure our homes. The only good thing is you are all alive. Hope your machine will be oke and that you can get your computer going, but if you can not find a design please PM me and maybe I can help in a small way. so sorry for what you've been through. my brother also lived in Long Beach and lost everything. I know you have a long road ahead (having been through katrina myself), just try to keep your spirits up and remember you have your life...things can be replaced. will keep you in my prayers.
