Amarilloactor, I just love this quilt. Did you have a pattern for this or is it your own design. I would love to make one like this. We live in Simonstown, South Africa and there is a Jackass penguin colony close to us, so it this quilt would be very appropriate. Thanks for sharing. *4U

Shirley -
I ordered the pattern from Keepsake Quilting and picked out my own fabric (although they do have the entire thing as a kit). I know that they have a web-site but am not sure of the addy. Perhaps you could google it.
Thanks for the compliment. Eric

Nice job Eric! Did you machine or hand applique the penguins? I used to do lots of quilting then I got my embroidery machine and have become smitten...I keep hoping the "new love" will wear off and I'll get back to my projects soon. Although, I do make some money with the embroidery and gave away all of my quilts.:)

I just love this pattern, "happy feet" I didn't see the movie but it looks like the name would fit.

Hi Eric... nice job on the penguins. ;-)... I'm so glad we have a guy in the group. I have to ask however...how did you get into sewing and embroidery? We're glad you're here! ;-)

I have been sewing for about 25 years ever since that first "Home Education" class with making an apron. It's gone far beyond that apron to clothes, suits, home decor, quilting, and on and on. Thanks for the compliments and it's a pleasure to be a member of this group.

This is a beautiful work .And the blue fabric which surrounds all white and black (+little yellow) balances this work of yours.Have you done this for yourself or is this a gift? *4U
