Have just had the most wonderful weekend. My daughter Emma with her boyfriend and the boys flew down to have a long weekend with us. The weather was terrible but we had so much fun.

I had not even noticed our stripes!!! It was wonderful having the boys here. Joshua is now walking without a stick.

Thank you Chris. Our home is quite small with only one spare bedroom, so they rented a flat for the long weekend. The boys have got so big and they just seemed to 'fill' our home - but it was lovely.

That is so much fun to have the family together. With the longs sleeves everyone is wearing it must be on the cool side. How long would it take if they drove instead of fly?

Anita - It was absolutely freezing. I had to cancel the restaurant I had chosen because of the weather. The drive is about 11 hours. When DH and I go every Christmas we always stop over night somewhere. We once drove here and back to Johannesburg over a long weekend to see the builders and to check how our house was coming along. Never again!!!!
Yes, that is a long drive. I was driving that far on my own when my daughter was 11 1/2 - 12 hours away and remembering getting so tired I stopped at a busy grocery store for a nap. The next trip I stopped over night also. A long distant truck driver would not be for me. lol
