Would like to know which is better Robinson-Anton polyester or rayon? Does any of the run when you wash the item?

I think Rayon works up beautifully..but the poly is much more durable. I personally use Isacord poly. I do have a lot of RA though that I use when I don't have the color in Isacord..

I usually use rayon thread and so far I have no issues at all; however I personally use Madeira thread.

I think it is personal preference. I don't use either one and I enjoy all my embroidery thread and don't have any trouble when I wash the item. Hehehe! *4u

I have used plain ol' guterman poly up until about a month ago when I got a load of rayon. I love the shine and smoothness of the rayon. *4U ><>

I like Robinson-Anton and basically use rayon. I have not had a problem with it. I believe that poly is suggested if you are going to use bleach on the garments.

Colonies I have used some of just about every brand. Some my machine likes some it doesn't. I seem to have less trouble with poly, My daughter loves Maderia. I have had as many problems with expensive brands as with cheaper, it all boils down to what works best 4 U *4U
