It's always good to check if the lamps are in stock before you start an extra trip (right side> choose your local store). Here in Germany we had sometimes no lamps for 4 weeks!

Tha lamp is made of glass - the embroidery is on muslin made to be a tight fit. (Muslin is a very light, loosely woven cotton fabric - I'm not sure what it is called in other countries)
