i have been to a church bazzarr & you just never know what your going to find. I found this bag of rickrack & bias bindings & bought it all for $5 I figure you never know when you will need some & it was for charity. When I got it home I started checking out the packages You can see the price right on this purple package I had to laugh 8 cents for 3 yards wow what a deal! I have to wonder just how old this is? I think we pay about $1.99 a pk LOL

i can't even remember when penney's sold anything that wasn't ready-to-wear! my sewing room is full of stuff similar & i love to watch the young ones faces when they see things like this!! you really bought a treasure, lucky you! thanks for sharing!

i use some of my treasured trim when making a crazy quilt or patchwork bear when it is for a very special gift.
I have never even heard of Penny's? I thought maybe it was short form for JC Penny's?

I love a good find....and I treasure all my years old stuff. I love to look at the price and sometimes wish I had bought more. I think it would be so fun to find all that stuffed in my stocking.

Well done!! I love rick rack, it was all over my clothes as a child and is now popular again. There is a Christmas Fayre at my local church on Saturday so I may just go and see what I can find :-)

Don't we all wish for those prices again. lol I still have thread on those wooden spools and remember when my dad would put finishing nails around the top so we could make cording.
