how about one of the "degree-style" hats. There's one in DBC which says 'the tassel's worth the hassle'

There are quite a few designs that might suit at Jen's. Maybe Einstein, a book, or the See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil. There's also a Mathlete sign, Pi and a number of others. Some other site has Pi is Yummy or something similar. It may have been at Urban Threads. Best of luck, Caroline!
