Sulky has just introduced a "cover the back" product. Looks and feels great. It is called Tender Touch.

Looks nice - would probably be especially nice on baby items. Thanks for sharing.

A product called Cover A Stitch from AllStitch is also nice.

I have tried their "Cover the Back" which comes in a large yardage roll(I suspect they are the same item, Tender Touch just comes in smaller packaging than the industrial roll I purchased.) It works beautifully, seals (in seconds)all loose threads and feels very, very soft to the skin. It is perfect for baby items, but I am also starting to use it on all of my t-shirts as it irons on in a jiffy and is non-toxic and I don't have to smell the fray check or worry about loose threads.;)
