NEWS! NEWS! NEWS!

I just got a call about my machine. For some reason, someone who wasn't paying attention, put my machine and all of the pieces in their storage unit; the unit they use for trade-ins. There it sat for over 3 weeks. They are working on it, and will have it ready to go tomorrow! And for the upset and hassle, they will be gifting me a pack of scissors. I'm happy that they found it, and it will be coming home again!! Thank you for your support and kind words!!!!

Absolutely! I've gone almost 4 weeks without being able to sew at all. I think I'm suffering major withdrawal symptoms!! :)

Happy for you that they found it and you get it back. I'm not sure that a packet of scissors is enough to make up for the tears, but at least it's something. xx

I know that it seems small, but at least they acknowledged their error and are doing something. I was seriously concerned that it was gone and that was an incredibly sad thought! I kind of wonder who got an ear chewing for this blunder!

Such a good outcome for you. Knew someone that dropped off their computer for repair and never got it back.

I'm pleased. I haven't seen the scissors yet. My son will bring my machine to me as soon as the roads are passable. It is winter here. :(

I hope your show went well. I did one the Saturday after Thanksgiving and almost completely sold out. I was very excited.
My son has my machine, and will be bringing it home when the roads are clear; snow has descended upon us, and driving is nightmarish. .

It is so much better to know that you are getting your "old" machine back. You must feel really happy and relieved in spite of all the trouble. People do make mistakes. I'm glad all ended well for you!

I have to agree with you. And they admitted their mistake, which made it alright in my book. Had there been a cover-up, I wouldn't have been so easily pacified.

If the machine is only one year old, I would think that story would sound a little fishy. Time to start calling at least once per day, possibly twice, to see if it is ready. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!! Good luck!!
