Applique on card. I digitised this design to stitch on card and wondered if it would work as an applique. I'm quite pleased with the result although I think his eye needs a bit of marker pen!
PS I went for the marker pen in the end.

Looks great and I leave the eye thing up to you. I just tried to do red bird last night and it hit the delete button, lol. I love with working pictures & animation. Now stitches of pictures. If I get anywhere close to how you can do I will be thrilled.

Came out nicely! You could always just add stitches freehand embroidery on your sewing machine.
