Well - had quite a day with my new machine. Managed to break a needle, get a birds nest under the needle plate and got very frustrated. When the machine was running properly it was amazing. It is so quiet. I have a feeling that we are going to get on OK but I am still missing my old one so much.

Oh Sarah chin up! I know it is frustrating when it does not work the way it should do but this is a good training ;o) Had my problems when I started using the brother because the display is terrible (if you are accustomed to a Janome-display) and no possibilty to change the thread speed. But both machines have their advantages so stay positive. Enjoy your bigger hoop *lol*

I found it so hard to get used to my new machine when I brought it home. But now it second nature. Keep going. Practice will make it seem like the 2 of you have been together forever.
