Meerkat for Georgie

The first t shirt on my new machine and using the large hoop. I found out it is not easy to do a small t shirt on a large hoop but I am very pleased with the result. Hope Georgie will like it. Thank you Bettina for giving me the encouragement.

Sarah I'm sure that Georgie will love it :o)
Yes it is tricky to stitch on small cloth with the large hoop. I always have preferred to stitch on fabric or felt and sew this patch on the shirt later ;-)
Greetings, Bettina

I did think about that Bettina but I was just dying to try out the large hoop. I just had to watch all the time that no fabric got caught.

Simples! (Perhaps that is only a meaningful comment in UK!)

I think you probably know that I am British but I have never heard of Simples!!! Please explain.

Alexandr Meerkat is a puppet used in a TV advertising campaign. There are loads of the commercials on YouTube. He is Russian and "simples" is his catchphrase.

How not to love these little beasts?
My sister loves them but I did not know there was a pattern embroidery.
Thanks to you, I found his Christmas gift.
Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Wow - super! It looks great! Brings back nice memories to me when I visited my English girl friend. They have such clever advertising in their TV with the Meerkat. Have a nice weekend - Maria
I'll try to find the design on Ann the Gran now (having an exchange
pupil from Southafrica here since two months; it probably would be a nice Christmas present for her - a Meerkat towel - beside the typical
German presents we have for her :-))
