This is project that has had me busy away from my machine for while. My oldest son made me 5 boxes for youngest sons kids. ( 5 of My 6 Grand treasures) I helped with finishing touches. The tops wood burnt initials the second pic is the color they look like. Picture two of the side view with handle. Third image is tray that goes inside top of box with adjustable dividers. I am now done so hope to get back to my clubhouse as my machine needs me and I miss my machine.

Great idea, for kids to keep all their treasures. They will have them filled up quickly! This would make a wonderful Hope Chest for a girl as well. You and your son have done a marvelous job making them.

Thank you very much. What started it was I was grumbling over all the cheap junk in stores. Said I wanted something that would out live me and I plan on hanging around for long while. The TRD is for GD. I thought just name but hubby said go maiden name she will still treasure it.

They look nice and sturdy. Are they on wheels for the little ones to move around? Only asking as they look heavy. The inside tray is nice with the removable compartments. Your son and you both did an amazing job getting them finished.

Thank you. No wheels that way they put treasures in keep in their own room. I got clips for youngest to use as locks and older ones a key combination lock so Dad/Mom can help over see. If they moved around house then the common help yourself sneak thing more likely to happen. The idea is to have ones own personal locker box of treasures.
