It's my husbands birthday tomorrow and as he doesn't really know what he wants as a present I have made him this. Just about to put it in a frame. It's a little brighter in reality that in the pic. Our 18 year old cat Josie died earlier this week so I though it was quite fitting.

Sorry to hear about you cat Josie, they are part of our families. Its nearly a year since Asterix died. Hope your husband loves his gift. What is the font please? Have you been to Holland yet?

She is sadly missed, she has been around for so long. Not sure what the font is as the design was from this site, but as I downloaded so much I don't know if it was a freebie by a Cutie or one of the sites itself! Stitches out really well I thought. We go to Wales on Saturday to visit my husbands family, back on Sunday and then to Holland on Monday so will be a busy week! Will make a manic visit to Abakhan while there and Ikea on the way back. Also going to Hema in Amsterdam which is a bit like Ikea.

I think it is a very nice memorial to a very special furbaby. I know it will be treasured by both of you. It is so hard to say good bye to Josie. I am sorry.

18 years is such a long time to have a little person around. The other cats have been looking for her but they seem to have settled now. I think he will love it, just need to keep it hidden until the morning!
