Hoping Christmas will be better then my Thanksgiving. I spent 5 days in the hospital starting on Thanksgiving Day. But, I feel so much better. I have not quite felt up to snuff for many years. I finally decided to wait til I would have to go into the ER for what was wrong instead of arguing with a dr trying to convince her there was a problem. Well, it seems I have had colitis and diverticulitis for more then 3 years...never getting enough antibiotics to get rid of it and never getting the tests to show what the problem was. All my dr wanted to do was surgeries and making me feel bad postponing things she felt I should have done. One dr told me I had IBS. I will never forget feeling as if I was in labor for 4 days. I am just glad it's over.

Oh, my goodness.....how awful for you to have to go through that. I'm glad that you have a diagnosis and can now start to heal.
