10 minute hat. I've had several PMs asking how I made the hat so here are some pictures.
1. Two pieces of fleece 55cm x 43cm with the stretch along the long side. Stitch together along one long edge with a stretch stitch.
2. Open out and fold to form a long tube. Stitch the side seam.
3. Decide which layer you want for the inside and pull through.
4. Fold over the turn up.
5. Run a gathering thread through 8cm from the top edge and cut the fringe before pulling up the gathers.
6. Tie a fairly broad strip of fleece (cut with the least stretch along the length) tightly around the gathers. Trim the ends so thast they form part of the fringe.
7. On this one I cut the fringe again as I thought it was a bit too chunky
directions. I have a problem- I don't know metric measurements. Can
you or someone else tell us in inches? Thanks Maureen
