Photo of a garden full of orchids in flower- Brassia Verrucosa aka Spider orchid.Last Sunday I took some that were potted up last year to the markets & sold them , did quiet well until a southerly blew up ,sending everthing flying.Second photo is a close up.

They are lovely. What area do you live to be able to grow these. I used to grow bromeliad's in South Florida but never tried the orchids.

NSW ,its summer here. There are bromeliads along the paling fence in the backround.If you look hard enough the orange flowers of the bromelaids are visible ( Top centre)

Oh these are beautiful, I love orchids. I have about 20 in the house and now my daughters are have their own homes they have caught the orchid growing bug too. I have not seen this variety before, what a great garden you must have
