I have not been here for awhile. I have been to Melbourne, Australia to find a niece that our family have never seen. We have been searching for her for years. It was just by chance I got a lead to where she was. Not knowing whether she had married had made been making it hard. Anyway I went to her home and met her. We had a great time catching up on over 65 years. She was just so over whelmed. It is just so great to have found that missing link in the tree. Hugs Shirley

It was just so exciting to finally meet her. We had only seen photos of her as a baby and toddler.

Many thanks Angel. I am the youngest of 16 children, so we have quite a lot of nieces & nephews. It was just so exciting to find the one we had never seen. She is only 9 months younger than me. She is the first daughter of my lat eldest brother.

That's such great news Shirley from Tasmania to Melbourne - not too far to travel. I'm going to try and track down my family history through Ancestry.com or something like that, as I know ancestors came from Germany/Austria! Love and blessings Chris

Thanks Chris. At this stage we are just doing form my parents down. We have 505 decendants from them at the moment. It is almost a full time job, as the larger the circle gets the faster it grows. lol Hugs Shirley

Thanks. We have a lot to catch up on still, but I am looking forward to many more visits and hope that she will come to stay so I can introduce her to all (or at least some) of her relations.
