I love snow now that I don't have to drive in it anymore

I live in the outskirts of Vancouver, BC Canada. We don't get much snow here anymore, but did get about 4" this morning and they said more tonight.

Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed your visit to Vancouver. I am born and raised here. I live outside Vancouver, but not far. I agree, it is a beautiful city. I am not a traveller,so have nothing to compare, but people do send e-mails with pictures of other parts of the world and I think it is a beautiful world. Just wish everyone did and appreciated the beauty around us and not try to destroy each other.

We had a very warm summer here, so its nice to see the snow. We don't see it much anymore.

I love seeing the snow in a picture. I am very happy not to have to walk, drive or feel the cold of it, I admit.

Love the picture. Sometimes I do miss the snow, specially around Christmas. However I would not miss it if I had to drive in it. Lovely being able to look out the window and have this scenery.

I only hated it when I was working and had to drive in it. Now I can enjoy it when we do get it. It isn't like this too often out west Carolyn and we don't know how to drive in it like you Easteners. Love you too. Hugs Jerri

WOW! Jerri, this is just amazing. I love the snow and the cold weather, as "bobbies" has said it's been hot here in Australia (but Newcastle isn't as hot as wherever "bobbies" lives) but we have a lot of humidity too! Yuck! double time.

This picture doesn't really do it justice. There wasn't much snow at the time I took the picture and not much colour, but the green of the trees was so pretty. I guess I should have put my flash on. I don't have an expensive camera, but serves its purpose, when needed.

The first snowfall is so beautiful, we got some on the weekend and then the rain started and now it is back to almost nothing. Calling for a storm on Friday so that will be just in time for christmas, Have a Merry Christmas Jerri,
