well for the last 2 days until the wee hours in the morning I have been working on finishing this for my MIL, I think crochet like embroidery is amazing as we can take this pile of yarn (or fabric)& turn it into this something wonderful! It was a challenge because I still have trouble with my fine motor skills & I am not as fast as I used to be. It has one red square because she has one girl & it has four off white with colors in it to represent the four boys. I am trying to figure out if I can make a label to attach to this or not? Any thoughts on how to do this?

I forgot to add the reason for the blue & white: they are her favorite colors. I added the red for Christmas.

Its beautiful Loralye: I know she is going to love it. As for the label can you embroidery one then maybe with a fine crochet hook do an scallop around the edge, the hand sew it to the bottom of one of the squares

Wished i lived next door i could have helped u ???but yes put a label on it and sew it on with a zig zag on the back .Thats how i do it hugs

It is but it is sew slow for me, I am getting anious to learn faster again. BUT I must practise more I know this too. Hugs Loralye
