It's Christmas Eve here in Australia and it's going to be about 30C today. Trevor and Ben have gone off for a game of golf. I am about to go and have breakfast (7.15am!) I've been up since 5.30 as the alarm went off for Trev to get up.
All I have to do is collect the meat for tomorrow. It feels great to be organised.
I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you Cuties around the world a holy and blessed Christmas Day. May you all spend it with those you love and those who love you.

Wishing you and your family a Holy and blessed Christmas too Chris , we have been up since 6 potato are peeled,meat defrosted , bathrooms cleaned about to go and get some last minute shopping ,we still have fruit mince tarts to make , but the pastry is made . We will have all olur family for dinner tonight,and only 5 for lunch,ooops we are off to the shops

Wow, I thought about peeling the spuds today too, might do them this arvo! That's nice to have them split like that. We might do that next year. Have 2 separate meals - one Christmas Eve and the other Christmas Day. Love Chris

Yes Vicki, I agree with you and him. Christmas has become so commercialised. Our priest Wendy just loves Christmas time and to be with our parishioners. Love Chris

merry Christmas & blessings! i love what you post. our thoughts & opinions are very much the same. since my daughters& families live next door (one to the right & 1 to the left) & my mom lives with us i have Christmas everyday. you always make me smile, thank you!

Thanks so much Susan - how blessed are you to have your family so close by. My Mum only lives about a 5 minute drive from me and that is great especially now as she relies on me more and more. Our children only live about a 16 minute drive away for our son and younger daughter. Our elder daughter Dana only lives 4 minutes away.
I'm chuffed you think the same way as me - but I want to let you know that I have a warped sense of humour!!!
