Happy Birhday! Our youngest son will be 46 on Dec. 28. Hope you didn't get any of our bad weather. Dec. 20 a tornado touched down 1/2
mile west of me. That was at 5 am and without electricity until 5:15 pm.
Dec. 25 at 5:00 pm one touched down 2 miles east of me. We didn't lose power with it. It tore apart historic Murphy High School built in 1926. I worked there for 22 years and the pictures on TV are awful.
No deaths and few with injuries. The ist one was 7 miles on the ground and the 2nd one 5 miles. They jumped from place to place.
My son watched the transformers blow up and spark fire sitting in my
carport. It left our area and at 50 miles per hour headed toward
Ga. I hope that you were spared.

It did some damage here also! I am a few miles SW from kay and I think she had more bad weather in her area than we did. I have 2 humongus Oak trees. one in the back and one in the front of my house and it scares me when the weather gets bad! They overlap in the middle of my house and limbs splinter and hit the roof. plus the acorns sound like bullets when the wind gets up! There was alot of damage a bit north of me but have not heard of any near where I live. It caused a good many wrecks also. I did not listen to the news very long but limbs falling on the houses and cars did cause several deaths but again, it was closer to where Kay lives. I did not have any major damage close to me that I know of but not sure about the area that Kay lives in.

Do you live anywhere close to Lillian? Lillian and I are both from Macon, Ga originally.
Lillian lives near Gadsden which is NE of Birmingham. I live
in Mobile near Miss and the Gulf. Originally I grew up near

Ladies, thank you for all your Birthday wishes. I had a wonderful day with my daughter and grand children. My son-in -law popped for a fabulous lunch out. My daughter is still trying to get settled in her mew home. I love my friends here!! Kay
