I'm not sure if this is crafting or sewing LOL, here's what I'm working on while staying with my sister in Florida. I had not seen mile-a-minute afghans until 'christracy' showed her afghan in projects, and I fell in love with them. I plan to do one for each of my children's homes so that means that I have to take back to Saudi enough yarn for them LOL. This afghan that I'm working on has a cable stitch in the center, really nice!!!

Do you just keep going around until it's as big as you want it? I'm crocheting in the car right now!

Sewmom, this is a pannel and after making 4 more they are joined on the long side, easily enough. Duhhhh, I hope you are a passenger!!

My MIL does something called Mile a Minute Lace...it is with crochet cotton and you make these croched scallops just keep on going until you get the length that you want...She is now 90 and has difficulty remembering just how to do it...I did it 25 years ago, but I have forgotten just how it goes...if any Cutie has instructions to the Scallop Mile a Minute Lace...would love to have the instructions...I have seen the mile a minute afghan crochet and it's not the same...but have googled myself goofy trying to find the mile a minute scallop lace....anyone?

So the twisted part in the middle is a cable stitch then? I've never done that. Is it hard to do?

Is this going to be an afgan or a scarf?
