He is so cute.I got a red monkey for my 5th or 6th b-day.His face,hands and feet were rubber or plastic.I kept him until I married, now I wish I still had him.What size is your hoop? and where is he from?-Toogie

Oh I love him. What kind of fabric do you use?

The dark brown fabric was a remnant I got at Wal-Mart for 52 cents. Can you believe that? It is a brushed nylon knit like they use for night gowns. The tan fabric is felt. I have also used flannel, fleece and thin fake fur to make them.

He is adorable. I would love to find that design. My daughter is having a baby any day (my first grandchild) and her room is decorated in zoo animals.

Thanks Susan & Sue for your combined work. I love this little monkey. I have ordered and am awaiting my e-mail for the design download. I had a stuffed monkey as a kid it had plastic hands and feet. My dad threw him away and now I can have another for a life time. Thanks, Hugs & Stitches, Liz

Your comments bring joy to my heart. I too had a special monkey as a child. I still have my Zippy. He turned 55 years old on Christmas. He is rough to look at but I still love him dearly. Please post a picture when your little guy is complete. Hugs,Susan
