I made a gift bag with "viola basket" design stitched on pale blue linen. The design was purchased from purchased from "emroidery designs", vendor Gunold. It was for relative who loves pretty, old-world things, and was well received.

Thankyou. I have tried a few ways of finishing the top and find the easiest and neatest way for me is to use two button holes.

I spend a fair bit of time selecting the colours each time I do an embroidery - it is one of my favourite parts of the whole process.
