I usally wait until the pack becomes available. Usually when the site does a series of designs there will be a pack available. However, there are a few that did not become a pack. I think, my opinion, that some of the designs are made available as they are digitized so the pack would not be possible until the set has been completely digitized.

I know the pack will come out so wait patiently for it. I am not in a hurry, but then I have 100s of alphabets in my stash.

Well, a lot of the designs are offered as the digitized files are completed. So, if there are 10 designs in a grouping, they can't very well be offered as a pack when all ten of them aren't completed yet. In fact, it wasn't until a while ago when Cuties requested packs for the alphabets that packs were even offered. And not all sets are offered in packs. So, if you don't want to download one design a day, you could wait to see if the set is offered in pack form at the conclusion of the digitizing.
