I just embroidery on one of these blankets for my cousin's baby and mine didn't look very good. It was hard to read the name. Yours looks very nice and you can see the name really well. I used a mesh stabilizer and water soluble stabilizer on top. can I ask what you used? I wish I had a pic to show but I didnt take one.

Hi, I just hooped a thick tear away stabilizer in the hoop, sprayed and then placed the blanket where I wanted the name. Put wss on top. I also put a basting stitch around the name so that it holds it all in place. Which is removed before I take off the wss and the tear away behind. (I use a spray bottle with water) just spray on the wss and wait a few sec. then tear off.
Hope this helps.
Hugs Yvonne
P.S. where are you from?
