This is first hat have two others...second already has a new home and the third is the in pink...I joined the Red Hat society...and needed a pink hat...I thought it should match my Princess name...Princess Sew and Sew....It is same style but pink prints and shorter barrel. First time hat making...will make a few more tomorrow maybe just for fun...easy pattern

Used a fabric I dont like but the fabric was pretty stiff...the close quilting also helps my pink one is softer but I used more batting and hand quilting on it

I found the pattern on line for free...I googled top hat....It is actually a cat in the hat pattern you have to draft your pieces, but is easy to follow and you sewing skills quickly take over and find the best way to do it. Will try and get the pic for the pink hat up soon. I am gonna make a few more since its Mardi Gras season here in the ARKLATEX. ...
