These are eight placemats for the outside table so as not to scratch the glass. They are designs from Glenn Harriss and are called "Spirit of the Outback". Hope this works for my first upload!!!

I first chose the colour for the embroidery then looked through my stash to co-ordinate. Lucky to have what I needed without having to purchase more fabric!!!

Thank you Cloreta!!! They measure 16in x 13in which will be plenty big enough for a dinner plate and glass.

Those are gorgeous.. The framing around the picts/emb is great as it is so well coordinated and brings the eye to the center. Wonderful job and I agree with the person who said they look like artwork. I would call you adventuresome no matter what you think ;-)

I forgot to say (most probably know it) but if you click on the picture you can see a larger pict so you can really see these.
by patchwork4424 06 Jan 2013
Ok that would make them more detailed. Trying to fit them all in the frame took away the detail. Thanks

These look fabulous "patch". I love these Aussie designs and the digitising is wonderful Glen's themes are always spot on. They look good enough to frame too! I hope you get lots of use out of them and I wouldn't worry about getting them dirty they should wash up well being cotton. Well done, love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

These are beautiful. I would be afraid to leave them out in the sun to long. You did so much work and they should last a long time if the weather does not damage them. Really beautiful work

I will use them only at the time of a meal and then put them away again until the next time. You're right about leaving them in the sun or weather!!!
