Pintuck, thank you so much for posting this here! I do have Sonia's cat and dog angels, and some of her other designs as well. I do know exactly how she feels, and what she is going through at this time, because this is exactly the same situation I found myself in with my dear late husband Richard 12 years ago. It is the hardest decision anyone can ever make, even when you know it's the absolute right thing to do. In our case, Richard and I had talked about what to do in this case, because he was having surgery very close to his brain. He did not want to be kept alive if there was no hope. When he had a hemorragic stroke, he was brain-dead. The only hope left was that they could take organs, because he was an adamant organ donor. Spending 3 days in the ICU, hoping for a miracle while waiting for the organ recipients to be contacted and prepared, the ICU nurses were indeed angels. I cannot begin to imagine how they can do this job constantly, yet not become immune to the needs of the people and families they serve so admirably. They deserve your angels. And Sonia needs every prayer she can get, believe me. Even when it's the rightest thing in the world to do, it's not something you ever get over. After 12 years, I'm sitting here just bawling as I write this. Please pray for peace for Sonia with her decision, please. Hugs, Marji

i was comforted that she is now in the arms of Jesus waiting for me to join her.

I am not a member of Sonia's Yahoo group but I have enjoyed her free designs. At this time she does need our support and I for one intend to go and purchase her designs even though I no longer have any machines. She has my prayers and I know she will be guided by God in her decision. Stella

I am sure Sonia would appreciate it if our members would stitch up some of her FSL Angels from the FSL Alphabet Angels that she gave as free designs or any FSL angels we have purchased from her and send them to the hospital on her behalf as a thank you for all the care that her Brother and her family have received from the staff at the hospital.

I am sure this would be a great help to her at this time.

She has shared so many designs with the embroidery community that I think it is time we all give back and do this for her.
