FSL Snowflakes and Angels for the Sandy Hook School Memorial.

These goodies are for the Families who lost children and the teaches on Dec. 14,2012 to the horrible tragedy at Sandy Hook School in Connecticut. There are never words of comfort, but I'm hoping somehow my little gifts will just let the families and community know I care and pray the Lord stays close to them all during this time of healing...not just now...but always.
Special thanks to digitizers who donated free snowflake designs...Embroidery Library, Sadia, Amazing Designs, and to Criswell and my Sister Yoriko for the sets offered at their sites. As digitizers you all touch so many lives is many different ways. And that makes you ALL very special!

If anyone needs information for an address and contact person...Please PM me for that information. I am NOT allowed to post it here as it will be deleted by the Cute moderators.

Thank you so much! How they are made credit must go to the digitizers of the designs. I only stitched them.

Thank you, Sister. I think your sweet FSL angel charms and button covers have become my 'trademark'. LOL I only wish I knew how many I've made since you created them. There is always a place for a special little angel.

These are beautiful. I don't know why you said that we would delete the information for Sandy Hook? I'm puzzled. It has been posted about numberous times. The last posting said that they were inundated by snowflakes and respectfully requested that no more be sent. (This was by the PTA) perhaps you have another source of information. Anyway, it's a loving and lovely gesture.

Thanks so much. Yes, information was posted here at Cute early on after the tragedy. The we all heard they were no longer accepting snowflakes. So I wrote them explaining many here from all over the World were making some for the school. When I posted the address and contact person for us to send..things got a bit out of hand and that moderator deleted it.

Very nice. I don't think the information would be deleted unless the information or designs were illegal. I too sent snowflakes and the first information I got about the project was from this site.

The information I posted was deleted by a moderator even though as you say..addresses had already been posted here before I posted info. I know your snowflakes will also be well received.

I have read too that they have been inundated by mail and request that no more be sent. I certainly hope that all of this beautiful work is not sitting in a plastic tub stored in a truck trailer somewhere, such as I saw on the news. That would be such a shame because you have done a wonderful job on this. If any of you still haven't mailed yours I would suggest that you send them to a local school or nursing home as a memorial to the children of Sandy Hook.

Thank you for your kind words. As far as I know there will not be a problem due to the fact I have a contact person and address for these goodies.

Thank you all so very much for your sweet comments.

I wrote the PTA last week and I explained that many here were busy making FSL snowflakes and that digitizers had so graciously donated designs for the project. I received a nice email from them and was told we had the "Green Light" and to go ahead and send our snowflakes. They provided a contact person and address for us to send our goodies to. When I posted the information along with the contact person. When I posted that information...2 different places in Community. One of the moderators informed me that if it was posted again and anyone saw it to report to her and it would be deleted...That post has been deleted by that moderator due to content not acceptable at Cute.

This tragedy hit close to home because my BIL had a teacher in high school who lost a grandchild that day.

The reason for the green angels is the Sandy Hook School colors are Hunter Green..I just hope the green I used is the correct green...or close. LOL

The snowflakes and angels are beautiful and will bring some comfort to those who have lost loved one.
thanks to the digitizers who offered the designs for free and to the stitchers who took the time to stitch them out.

I hope my gifts bring comfort for years to come.
And yes, the digitizers were very caring and giving to donate for such a tragedy.
Thanks for commenting!
