Well Cuties, my afghan is done and packed in a box ready to be sent to son and family in Kuwait. I really love how it turned out!! This is a crocheted Mile-a-minute pattern and took me about 15 days working about 2 hours at night.

Very nice. I have always wanted to make a afghan from a mile a minute pattern but have been reluctant to start. Maybe this is the year to do so.

Hi - learned something new. So far I did not know that "afghans using
miles in a minute" patterns are existing, but I really love your excellent
work. It looks amazing and the two colours used make an amazing
effect. Thanks for sharing - Maria

Over the years I've made several. It's a great 'take with' piece because you work it in runners/panels and don't have to carry the whole thing around with you.
Nice piece and I'm sure your son and family will use it often.
