Trying out a different way to make a card. The design was stitched rather like making a coaster but when the back was added I left a gap down the spine edge so that I could slot a card blank in. I had to trim the blank to allow for the rounded corners. There are two versions, one with satin stitch and one with redwork stitching for use on felt.
The roses are from Sick but I can't remember where the violets came from.

yes, very nice idea must remember this for upcoming events, thank your for sharing, if doing it in fabric I would use the fold of a fabric for the slot side
