Not embroidery I am afraid but a close up of the detail I have put on a shirt for myself.I folded the narrow ribbon that I used in the neck to put down the placket front. It was terribly fiddly to do but I am pleased with the results. Sarah.

Your blouse is very well made. I really like the fabric - so dainty, and feminine. The ribbon accent is perfect and allows the button placket to stand out nicely. Great job!!

Hi Chris. The fabric is from Johannesburg - I am sure it is probably quilting material. It is also terribly hot here at the moment. I hate it!!!! Hugs Sarah.

Wow what a neat work. I'm more the chaotic lastminute-sewer without a pattern and just a pic in my my imagination *lol*
We are covered here with snow and I hate this. Would love to send you some ;o)
Greetings, Bettina

You are blessed to be able to do that. My mother never used a pattern either.

Thank you Caroline. I wish it was Liberty lawn. It is more like a quilting cotton with a lot of dressing in it.

Not so many people actually sew their garments these days. This is really nice, Sarah, and the added detail was well worth it.

It is such a shame that people are not sewing so much these days. No time I suppose. My daughters can barely sew on a button!!!!

The extra detail you have put into your shirt gives it a lovely finish and life. It great to see. I also enjoy making my shirts even though I am fairly new to dressmaking. It can be very rewarding.
