Very Nice. When my son was small I knitted a variegated sweater for him. The amount of stitches from the shoulder to the bottom of the arm hole made the thread fall so it was solid colors (red white blue) no credit to me but made me look good ;-) , after stitch increase it was very mixed like your lovely hummer. Thanks for sharing. Love the mystery of variegated.

Really like using the variegated thread also. Some with good results and some awful not so good. The hummer looks great with how it highlighted it's tail feathers.
